We work by the hour and name the rate before the work begins.

The upper segment of the Ukrainian market does not announce its rates publicly. We do. Not because we are cheaper — the opposite: so that the conversation about money happens before the case, not inside it.

What “from” means This is a lower limit, not the final cost. The size of the fee is set by the agreement on the provision of legal assistance and is agreed with you before the work begins. This page is not an offer.

The rate is named by the level of involvement, not by a surname Publicly, a case has a partner or an advocate of the association — the person answerable to you for it. Behind that person a team works, whose composition we do not publish: in criminal defence this is a matter of safety — for advocates and for clients alike. The difference between the levels is a difference in which decisions are taken at each level, not in how seriously the case is handled.

What the size depends on

The size depends on several factors. We name them before the work begins.

Complexity of the case
In particular: the volume of the case file, the number of episodes, the stage of the proceedings, whether there are parallel proceedings and a foreign element. The list is not exhaustive.
Level of involvement
The case is run by a partner or an advocate of the association. A partner is needed where strategic decisions in the case are taken; in other cases the same work is done by an advocate of the association in their own name.
Workload
Urgent cases, and those that require a prolonged presence, affect the timelines and the availability of the team.
Scope of engagement
A one-off consultation, accompanying a single investigative action, or running the case in full — these are different modes of work.

3.1.4How it is
paid

We do not sell legal assistance at the click of a button. The fee is agreed by contract; payment is by invoice or at the office.

This site has no online payment, no cart and no subscription. This is not a technical limitation but a way of working: before any payment there is always a conversation and a contract.

The scope of the work and the manner of settlement are set by the agreement on the provision of legal assistance.

Separately · a project of the association

Defend24 is something different

Defend24 provides for a subscription to access the service on the product’s separate terms. The association provides the work of an advocate under a contract. These are different things, with different documentation and a different way of paying.

If you need an emergency call-out of an advocate as a platform service — that is Defend24 (access is opened gradually; each request is received by a person). If you need a case to be run — a contract with the association.
